01 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TherapyLog — whether through the web app at therapylog.app, the iOS application, the Android application, or any other platform we support — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use TherapyLog.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TherapyLog LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("TherapyLog," "we," "us," or "our").

02 What TherapyLog Is

TherapyLog is a personal health tracking and reference tool that allows individuals to:

• Log and track personal health data (weight, medications, lab values, body measurements, symptoms, and related metrics)
• Set reminders for self-administered protocols
• Browse an informational compound encyclopedia for educational reference
• Access an AI-powered research assistant for general informational queries
• Generate personal summaries and reports for their own use or to share with a healthcare provider

TherapyLog is a personal journaling and organizational tool. It is not a medical device, electronic health record, clinical decision support system, or telehealth platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a substitute for any licensed healthcare provider or medical institution.

03 Not Medical Advice

Nothing in TherapyLog constitutes medical advice. This includes, without limitation:

• All compound, peptide, hormone, and medication reference information in the encyclopedia
• Protocol templates and stack suggestions
• Lab value reference ranges and interpretations
• AI assistant responses
• Any summaries, reports, or notifications generated by the app

This information is provided for educational and organizational purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. Reliance on any information provided by TherapyLog is solely at your own risk.

04 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use TherapyLog. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. TherapyLog is not intended for use by minors. If you become aware that a minor has used the app, please contact us immediately at hello@therapylog.app.

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable law. If you are accessing TherapyLog on behalf of a business or clinical practice, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

05 Your Data and Privacy

Local-first storage. By default, all personal health data you enter into TherapyLog is stored locally on your device using your browser's IndexedDB and localStorage. TherapyLog LLC does not have access to, collect, store, or transmit your personal health logs, measurements, medication entries, or lab values to any server.

You own your data. Your data belongs to you. You can export a full backup at any time from Settings → Backup. You can delete all data at any time from Settings → Backup → Reset.

No sale of personal data. TherapyLog LLC does not sell your personal data to any third party for any purpose.

Texas privacy. TherapyLog LLC is a small business as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration. As such, it is generally exempt from the full requirements of the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), Texas Business and Commerce Code Ch. 541. Consistent with TDPSA Section 541.002, we do not sell sensitive personal data without consent — and as noted above, we do not sell personal data at all.

Analytics and infrastructure. Limited technical data (such as session metadata for payment processing and API rate limiting) may be processed by our infrastructure partners (Stripe, Vercel, Upstash) in the ordinary course of providing the service. These providers process data under their own privacy policies and are not authorized to use it for their own purposes.

Data security. While we take reasonable technical measures to protect the service, no system is perfectly secure. Because your health data is stored locally on your device, its security depends in part on the security of your device and browser. We strongly recommend enabling device-level passcode protection.

06 AI Assistant

TherapyLog's AI research assistant is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you submit a query to the AI assistant, your message — which may include health context from your profile — is transmitted to Anthropic's servers for processing.

What is sent: Your message, relevant profile context (such as your logged protocol or lab data, if you have enabled this), and a system prompt describing TherapyLog's purpose. Your full data history is not transmitted.

Anthropic's data handling: Queries sent to the AI assistant are subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. TherapyLog does not store AI query content on its own servers.

AI limitations: AI assistant responses are informational only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. Do not make any health, medication, or treatment decision based solely on an AI response. The AI assistant does not know your complete medical history and is not a substitute for professional medical judgment.

If you use your own Anthropic API key (BYOK mode), your queries are billed to and governed by your own Anthropic account.

07 Subscriptions and Payment

Certain features of TherapyLog require a paid subscription ("Pro"). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable fee to your selected payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan).

Pricing. Current pricing is displayed at checkout. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice. Price changes will not apply to your current billing period.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time in a billing period, except where required by applicable law.

Refunds. All purchases are generally final. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at hello@therapylog.app within 14 days of the charge.

iOS subscriptions are managed through Apple and subject to Apple's payment terms. Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe, Inc. and subject to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store full payment card data.

Free features. Core logging and tracking functionality is available without a subscription. Pro features (including managed AI access above free limits) require a paid plan.

08 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use TherapyLog to:

• Violate any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation
• Provide false or misleading health information with intent to harm yourself or others
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the application
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the application
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service or its infrastructure
• Use the application in any manner that could constitute the unauthorized practice of medicine or healthcare
• Re-sell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize access to the application or its content without written authorization

09 Intellectual Property

TherapyLog, its design, compound encyclopedia content, protocol templates, and all associated software are the property of TherapyLog LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Your content. You retain all rights to the health data and notes you enter into TherapyLog. You grant TherapyLog LLC no license to that content, consistent with the local-only storage architecture described in Section 5.

10 Disclaimers of Warranty

TherapyLog is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TherapyLog LLC disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Any warranty that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Any warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any compound, protocol, or reference information in the application
• Any warranty that AI assistant responses are accurate, current, or appropriate for your individual circumstances

You use TherapyLog entirely at your own risk.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TherapyLog LLC and its officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of health, physical injury, lost profits, loss of data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use TherapyLog.

In no event shall TherapyLog LLC's total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the service exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to TherapyLog LLC in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. Where such limitations are not permitted under applicable law, TherapyLog LLC's liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted.

12 Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of TherapyLog shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wilson County, Texas.

Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to first contact TherapyLog LLC at hello@therapylog.app and attempt to resolve the matter informally. Most concerns can be resolved quickly this way.

13 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice within the application. Your continued use of TherapyLog after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. If you do not agree to an updated version, you should stop using TherapyLog.
