Answers to common questions about TherapyLog.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. All your health data is stored locally on your device — it never leaves your phone unless you use the AI features or export a backup manually. We have no servers storing your information. See our
Privacy Policy for full details.
My data disappeared after updating the app. What happened?
TherapyLog uses local device storage. On rare occasions, iOS may clear this storage. This is why we strongly recommend exporting a backup regularly — go to Me → Settings → Backup → Export All Data. Store the file in iCloud Drive or email it to yourself. To restore: use the Import button in the same location.
How does the AI Lab Scanner work?
Take a photo of your lab report and the AI reads the values and fills in the form automatically. The image is sent to Anthropic (Claude AI) for processing — it is not stored by TherapyLog. Works with Quest Diagnostics, LabCorp, and most clinic formats. Best results with clear lighting and the report filling the frame.
How do I get dose reminders when the app is closed?
Go to Me → Settings → Reminders → Export Calendar (.ics). Open the file on your iPhone and add it to your iPhone Calendar. Your iOS Calendar will then send native push notifications for each dose — even when TherapyLog is closed.
Can my doctor see my data?
Yes — TherapyLog has a built-in clinical report generator. Go to Me → Profile → Report, select the sections you want to include, and tap Generate Report. You can print it or save it as a PDF to share with your physician before appointments. There is also a Clinic Mode (Me → Settings → Clinic Mode) that shows a clean summary view.
How do I add a protocol and set up reminders?
Go to Health → Protocol → Setup tab. Enter your protocol name, start date, duration, and list your compounds one per line in the format: Name, Dose, Frequency. Save the protocol, then go to the Reminders tab to set notification times for each compound.
The app shows a Menstrual Cycle tracker — how do I enable it?
The cycle tracker is only shown for female users. Go to Me → Profile → Patient tab, set Biological Sex to Female, and save. The Cycle tab will appear in your Health hub automatically.
How do I reconstitute peptides using the calculator?
Go to Reference → Tools & Calc → Calc tab. Enter your vial size in mg and how much BAC water you're adding. The calculator shows you the concentration and exactly which unit line to draw to on your insulin syringe for any dose.
